As a One-Stop-Shop for Transport, Integrated Logistics and Waste Management Services to the Energy, Oil & Gas and Mining Industries in Mauritania, Maurilog has been a contractor of reference to the major Oil and Gas and Mining operators in Mauritania, including their subcontractors to whom they offer a wide range of services to assist in the running of their operations. The services cover the whole chain needed to operate in country, to supply base and port operations support, warehouse management, transport and lifting, vessel agency services, waste management. Maurilog also has a large department dedicated to freight forwarding and customs clearance services, trhough which they can offer freight forwarding services from any country in the world as they are Global partners of the internationally renowed freight forwarding company, DB Schenker.
Maurilog is very conscious about delivering a safe and compliant service to its clients, and has thus put in place very rigorous Quality and Safety Management Ststems in place. They are the first and only company in Mauritania to be certified by DNV for the following: ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.

Integrated Supply base & port operations
Our Logistics Base is located inside the Port area and a short distance to all Berths and multiple Yards. Within this dedicated area are several Warehouse structures offering a secure and dust free environment whilst also providing undercover storage for UV protection. Open storage areas are numerous, all with hard standing and lighting. All areas have regular security patrols with dedicated sentries at each entry / exit point.

Bunkering
We understand the need to have a reliable and high-quality supply of MGO to support offshore operations. By organising and co-ordinating with a reputable MGO supplier we have the ability to supply MGO directly to the transfer vessel thus avoiding any Port calls. The service also includes the co-ordination of the transfer to an offshore asset.
Drilling Bulks are an essential element for our Oil & Gas clients, we also manage this requirement and liaise directly with the bulk supplier and our Marine team.

Waste management
Most waste from the Oil & Gas sector are generally controlled waste, including materials that are to be recycled. Controlled waste includes waste arising from offshore and onshore operations as well as special waste (or hazardous waste) for which there are additional regulations for storage, transfer and disposal.
